Mein neues Freizeitvergnügen mit netter Aussicht...
Ich habe mich wochenlang nicht reingetraut, obwohl der Pool 1x die Woche gesäubert wird. Aber es ist halt eben doch Hafenwasser.
Jetzt war ich Sonntag und heute schwimmen, und es ist weniger schlimm als es wirkt! Und kostenlos.
MacCallum Pool wird sogar in der aktuellen Ausgabe des Australian Traveller erwähnt, als einer von Sydneys 10 besten (Salzwasser-) Pools:
Located on the western side of Cremorne Point with stunning views taking in the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, MacCallum Pool was originally a rock pool created by residents as a safe harbour swimming hole, then reconstructed in the 1920s above the high water mark. Although the pool is small and narrow (just two lanes wide) it's long enough for laps.
